  • Can A:IR and Bless Revitalize the AAA MMORPG? - Bill Murphy - MMORPG.com

Bill, neither game really has the capacity to refresh a old, worn out formula thats well past its use by date. I've been following Bless for quite some time. Its graphics look GREAT, but its game play...Not so much. I seriously doubt that either will do all that well in the west, these days. I wish them both the best of luck, but I'm not expecting much from either.

  • Our Rift Prime Q&A with Producer Chris 'Archonix' Junior - Rift Interviews

The year end wipe is a game breaker. Not only no, but HELL NO!

These games are WAY too time intensive to bother with a game thats effectively going to end in a year.

Not to mention paying a subscription for such a short term game. I have NO problem with subscriptions, in fact I prefer it. But not in this case.

This looks like yet another case of Trion trying to have their cake, and eat it too.

  • Major security flaw in ALL intel chip......

If you want crazy conspiracy theory, one wonders how long No Such Agency and the Company have known about this?... Not to mention what ever else they are keeping to themselves.

  • MMORPG.com : General : Hawaii's Chris Lee - 'Together We Can Stop Predatory Gaming Practices'

Given the location, this is likely just more Prog virtue signaling. This politician will ride the issue while its hot, and drop it once they have milked it for all its worth.

Given the vast money (hence power) behind many of these companies, unless some well connected national level politicians (back in Mordor on the Potomac) get involved, this isn't going anywhere.

But we *are* heading into the mid term election season. Especially given the "for the Chil-de-ren" angle, that plays well to certain demographics... We will have to see how this all works out.

  • World of Warcraft - Hands on with the Alliance Side of Battle for Azeroth - MMORPG.com

Some of what I've seen so far looks promising. Others, well lets hope they get it right. Especially the new PvP system... If there is ANY loop hole, no matter how obscure, well as they say "Goons gotta Goon..."

I've been playing since late beta. I've played each expansion, and enjoyed some more than others. Panda Land was one of my least favorites. Wrath on the other hand, was one of my favorites.

Through it all, Blizzard itself (no matter what other games came out) was and remains, the only real threat to WoW. Lets see how BFA plays out.
