    Good luck because tons of people are getting disconnects at the moment that reset the story instances and force you to try again from the beginning.. only to get disconnected again.

    I am totally stuck and can not progress the story. No word on a fix. No official replies to the many, many posts on the forums about it.

    Very close to quitting the game altogether.

    I'll check it out. I liked Defiance but there was something about it that made me lose interest after about a week each time I've played it.

    Hopefully they've fixed that problem... whatever it was that caused it.

    Outfits are not like costumes. They're per character.

    Each character you have or create gets one outfit "template" included. You can fill each slot (chest, head, arms, weapons, etc.) with any style for that slot that any character in your account has learned including all the freebies (each character you create knows their own racial style, imperial edition adds the imperial style, etc.) That outfit and its dye can be changed as often as you want but each time you do it costs the same as if you were doing it from scratch based on the style you're using.

    The gold cost per slot varies depending on the rarity of the style you're using and dyeing outfit slots also costs gold unlike dyeing your regular gear or costumes.

    You're just adjusting the outfit template for that character but you're not creating a costume that would become an account wide collectible.

    You can also buy additional blank outfit templates from the cash shop if for some reason you want to have more than one for a given character and those are also per character.

    TBH, it's not something that's a huge attraction for me. I played around with it on the PTS just to check it out but I haven't bothered to do any on the live server.

    OK, so you don't learn appearances from gaining items? You get the styles you've learned from motifs?

    Not really a fan of that if that's the case. Seems like a step backwards compared to Rift, GW2, WoW.. etc.

    Cash shop will determine how successful these games are in the west, not the actual gameplay. Sad, but true.

    If there's a 1% chance upgrade system that requires a cash shop item for a guaranteed success rate, it's all over. Black Desert has managed to fool a lot of people into ignoring it's P2W aspect since the game has lots of other unique features that distract people from it. A:IR and Bless don't look like they will be able to pull that off.
