It's called Helbreath, and it is the game with the most balanced PvP ever and character progression. May not be too advanced, but it works.

WoW has gotten it aswell. It does work, but quality ain't too shabby. Never met anyone who actually used it.

I've heard claims of 6k+ ping in WoW. That might have been away from inner city, but still. I don't believe you should expect anything lower than 1000ms.

Shouldn't help much. Port Forwarding is mostly used when you "host" games. I.E. when people connect to your PC. Also used in Peer 2 Peer environments such as BitTorrents, where people also connects to your PC.
