Now this is just pure hear-say but apparently the reason why Trion is being so quiet is because they are in the process of (obviously localizing language) trying to develop a marketing strategy for NA.

And you have to keep in mind, sieges could be happening similtaneously. So a guild with larger numbers could have a few fronts open.
