Bill, even the MMOs you listed in your article (FFXIV, WoW, etc) are less MMOs these days and more lobby-style dungeon runners with an over-world zone used for little else other than leveling. I think this is partly because these games really shrink…
I really enjoy Anthem's combat game play, setting, and general feel more than I do the Division 2. However, Anthem is so sorely lacking polish, QoL improvements, and game flow compared to the Division 2.
Logging into Anthem to try the newest patch…
Also, would like to mention that by the time you have gear good enough to do GM 2/3 in Anthem, there is no reason to run GM 2/3 in Anthem; this is mostly due to the way that inscription rolls work, in that in order to even attempt GM 2/3 you already…
Divison 2 has the better progression system hands down. From general character progression (via skills/talents) to actual build variety that includes gear w/ game play changing effects rather than just generic stat-boosting.
Basically, Anthem's end…

My drop rates on GM1 actually feel the same or worse.
Drops in GM1 weren't changed. The exception to this is some of the tougher enemies in all difficulties have increased drop rates (Legendary Ancient Ash Titan, Elite Anc…
I'm super glad that Bioware made this decision -- more loot drops is step in the right direction. I really hope they can keep it up; within a year's time, hopefully the game will have grown considerably.
Generally speaking, I have no problems with Razer products -- I am currently using the full suite of Razer products. However, as others have pointed out, Synapse is pretty poop, which is a real disappointment given the price of the hardware.
As much as I loved Anthem for its setting and general combat game play, Division 2 has truly shown how mediocre Anthem was in terms of design and polish. Honestly, it is one of the smoothest game experiences I have ever played; better yet, the momen…

I don't think I wrote that much on my Master's thesis....
But, honestly, reading it, I'm left with the uneasy feeling that it might have been summed up, "not much".
As @Scot said, I wish them well and hope that things will star…
Not technically a new MMO or in development, but AO classic/progression server is coming at some point this year. That's been about the only cyberpunk MMO I've known outside of Neocron.
I value style and artistic direction far more than graphical fidelity; however, having both is nice -- albeit extremely rare. I'm learning quickly that older games had far more style and artistic direction than the newer generation of games. While t…
While I started with Everquest, I was quite young and it has been such a long time. So, my best memory (that I can actually recall) was probably with Anarchy Online, which I picked up about a year or so after EQ.
I will literally never forget leavi…

It's just fine conceptually, it provides much greater build varia…

Perhaps. But then is it displaying a modifier that isn't there, or is it displaying the wrong % roll on a modifier that is there?
That easily happens when database query gives no return - it may displa…
