Yes, I was unable to restart/boot after installation. Finally fixed now (obviously), but the game still crashes when I click the play button. Going to try deleting the character now and see if that helps.

I agree with the EQ2 suggestion. I haven't played AoC since closed beta, but from what I hear it isn't doing so well, and it was poo on toast at release. I personally think EQ2 looks better as well, but I think I'm in the minority with that opinio…

Well, according the at least one of the devs, the screens are captured "in-engine", so who knows. I'm reserving judgement for a while though, as I tend to agree that things look a little too good to be true at the moment.
