with direct2drive i believe you need to select download under your account before they send you the codes, so try that and see what happens?

no you dont need cd key, if you did there would be no point in giving you a headstart code also i believe you have a grace period before you need to enter cd key when game launches, so you should be ok with headstart for several days.

I used to play on pegasus as well, if i remember right..went by the name of Chumo. I pretty much quit when i learned they were gonna kill it. But to this day, it is easily one of if not the most entertaining mmo's i have played.
