Man did i choose a wrong time to start playing, i bought it last night had to let it download and work today. Got home, made dinner. Started playing for exactly 15 minutes just now and then the servers are coming down.
*Giant sigh
Not to mention w…
Coming back to the topic i actually enjoyed the public dungeons quite a bit. It was even challenging, they found a nice pace between clearing a group of enemys and having them respawn. With added choke points around some places with larger then norm…
In my personal run trough i actually missed quite a lot of the skyshards, they might give off a lot of light when standing close by, but they arent actually all that easy to spot from far off. Like you wouldnt be able to spot one two islands next to…
Removing quest markers is not a bad suggestion but you gave no idea of a system they would have to use then. Skyrim style? Reading books, hints and talk to people? Small spoiler they still did that ingame. Read and talk ALL THE THINGS!
Im guessing …
Star Wars is just massively popular. There are loads of people who do not like SWTOR all that much but play it just because they can play in a star wars world.
Comparing pre sales of ESO to a giant like SWTOR then ofcourse the outcome would be in S…
Originally posted by DKLond ESO grabbed me almost immediately and Wildstar literally provoked a negative physical reaction.
If you understand game design and you're aware that not all MMOs have to work in an identical fashion to be acceptable, ESO…
I loved the beta from the start. Was not sure what to expect, came out happy.
Will buy, but not the CE.
Hell i don't have anything good to play atm anyway so i can't wait for launch.
After finishing one of the dungeons with a 3 man group i hope the bosses in ESO wont allow for reliable dps. I had to move and dodge so much that a proper skill combo did not really come to mind. And when it did i had to sprint out of a one hit kill…

Originally posted by raynforce There is a limited lift of the NDA for the beta for levels 1-15.
Before I go on, first let me be clear, I hate the free to play model. I would rather just pay 15$ and not have to look at all the nice things I can…
I think it mostly depends if you are an elder scrolls fan or not. If you are, you will find the that the game already makes a lot more sense and know a little bit about the story which helps with immersion quite a lot so it becomes more enjoyable.

I think a lot of people saw this CE idea coming from miles away, wouldnt be the first time a company locked a race out of the launch (star trek online launch anyone?) with the collectors edition.
My downside is, i live in the EU and the 80 dollars …
Played for a couple of hours and during the session open beta went online. Went fine, didnt notice anything. Went for dinner, came back and the latency was to bad to play. Give it two days tops and should be fine.
One of the best mmo's ever made, lorewise its way over anything on the market right now but the customer service is so utterly rubbish. What Turbine needs to do is overhaul their account system, billing and current prices. Make it easier for EU peop…
DRM is not a great system at all but they have to use it to make sure the game does not get pirated by 90% of the community which whatever anyone says always happens these days.
I have to say that the price tag is pretty high and i won't buy it rig…
I haven't played the start of the game in a long while, because god knows altism in eve will really kill you haha. But! I have heard that the new player experience has improved by a considerable margin. They teach you things now that are actually im…
Has anyone thought about the idea that the free to play for Planetside 2 is needed to make it shine, the game is centered around human player warfare on an epic scale.
Free to play can deliver that.
From what i have seen and heard around the community the specs needed to play it well are going to be HIGH.
Do not expect the game to look and play remotely like DayZ. It is a different game entirely.
Compared to Dayz it is a lot easier, the zombi…
I liked the quests in MoP and had a lot of fun with them on my warlock on the test server, but the dungeons still have the old static WoW feel which is really disappointing. I know you cant fix them up a lot but they did not even try all that hard
