I have always been inherently suspicious of overly-generous people in games. If they give away powerful items like it's nothing you can guarantee they didn't earn them in the first place.

Fractured Online might be the sleeper hit..
Well, it's a hit with me because it definitely sends me to sleep when insomnia strikes. It's the most sluggish, tedious, grindy, soulless game I have ever played. Not eve…

I still miss Wildstar. It had a nice style of humour. I just noticed the disk box for it the other day as I was looking for something else.
As you say though, the market just wasn't there for it. I felt the same way about EQ2 and as for PvP game…

Game companies can often be stuck in the past, in a sort of idealised vision of MMORPGs where players love nothing better than to talk, socialize, team up, form guilds and so on. As you say, they just didn't understand the gaming community we have…
I like my Meta Quest 2 and 3, but these games usually require quite a roomy area to play in. My place is tiny so too much risk of hitting something while moving around. It looks very good though.

I did give the game a try, since it's cheap and I was bored, but player numbers are very, very low. They fell into the old trap of making a game that positively encourages grouping and socialising, which is admirable, but... there's nobody to group…

New world and lost ark are both steam only so those numbers are…
Never, ever buy a pig in a poke. The time to buy is 3 months after a game has released, in order to gauge gamer reactions before making your own mind up whether to buy or not. Don't throw money at people who fail to deliver.
