I was having these same problems early on when they had too many servers and the population was declining. Unless I was playing at 17-24 hours there was hardly anyone online. This has changed a lot, though, as now that I'm on vacation I can log on a…
Please read one of the devs' post on the official forums - it should soften the blows somewhat, though perhaps not entirely, depending on your expectations of the game:

I think name tags everywhere can ruin immersion, but I wouldn't be opposed to displaying the name of whatever target you've locked on to above his name or somewhere else in the UI wherever it's appropriate.
I really hope to see Skaven as a playable race in the first expansion *fingers crosses*
A Darkness Fall type dungeon would be awesome as well.
I hope they'll not increase the level cap.
Making unique gear for 22 different careers is anything but lazy, to be honest. What's truly lazy is MMOs that recycle the same generic models instead of putting effort into making the various classes unique. Especially sad if we're talking of MMOs …
I don't think you guys are really looking at the bigger picture here. WAR is hardly the first MMO to have a buggy/broken end-game. Take the insanely successful WoW, for example. The later zones were extremely low on content, and it was quite clear B…

I wouldn't overgeneralise. I think that people left WAR to try out WoW's xpac. I let my WAR sub expire for the time being due to real reasons but plan on coming back.
There's no denying there was an impact when W…
The reason I didn't comment is that neither of us know the retention rate in EU compared to the US, so it's rather silly to start discussing it, not to mention your question was rather vague and cryptic. I agree it would be great to have the needed …
There are MMOs that have released simultaneously. They are few however, as far as I know. WoW, your first example, incidentally released 3 months later in Europe than in the US.
US release was November 2004
EU release was February 2005
Quick g…
I know you like bashing GOA, but here's something to consider: Normally MMOs don't release in Europe until several months after its US release. In this case GOA insisted on a simultaneous release. If it was as with pretty much every other MMO out th…

I was wondering about this too. What I've seen from MJ has only been good.
Anyway I think Mythic has done an exemplary job so far, so I can only say my fai…
They opened with way too many servers (about 120), so some of the servers are pretty much "dead". They solved this by allowing players unfortunate enough to be on those servers to transfer their characters freely to the more populated ones.
Disagree with pretty much everything the OP says. Though I suggest you roll on a populated server to get the best experience (no, 99%, or anywhere close to that are most certainly NOT Low/Low). Obviously just logging into the game and looking at th…
Definetly. As long as you make sure to roll on a med or high pop server. If you wait a week you can also begin the game with the two new tank classes available to you.
