So they managed to put together a working game that doesn't look like something from the 90's with 9 fps? Last I checked the beta client was in a pathetic state, unplayable.
If they can pull it off, it will be amazing. I don't mind if graphics are not ES6-level, as long as there is a clear aesthetic direction and rich and meaningful lore.
Would be nice to see a Dragonlance mmo, but I don't think the audience for that would be too big. My guess is either FR (good) or, and I hope not, Planescape.
Now how they design combat, that's the big question.

Level scaling is a BAD idea. The core design of MMOs focuses on character development (in whatever form, i.e. gear, level, skills, etc), and with level scaling this becomes nullified.
graphics looked good on the original MO1 teaser at the time (it was even advertised as 'in-engine graphics')... and then people logged in-game for the first time and saw the difference.
I don't like the streak of news coming from AoC lately, looks like their focus is entirely on the BR version and the MMO has been degraded to an afterthought, if at all.
Classic is a solid RPG game in an MMO environment, unlike retail (post Cata) which was an attempt to lobby-ARPG the game. I hope Blizzard takes notice.
