I play SWTOR but can't get excited about this because it's the same damn story yet again. The Sith Emperor (if not the Sith Empire itself) is trying to take over the galaxy and we have to stop him yet again.
Can't we have something new? Then ag…
Most PVP seems to be just ganking, someone higher level or with better gear killing low levels/low geared people.
PVP should be equal, or close to it. But somehow the loudest PVP advocates can't seem to play games like that. Dark Fall most obvio…
They announced we wouldn't get one this year, instead a lot of little updates and a new class, and a level bump to 100 (which already happened).
Presumably the next expansion will be announced sometime next year...
Originally posted by Beyorn Since the game is doing so well will we ever see new class/companion stories or do you think it is cartel market full steam ahead?
IMHO story is the ONLY thing that they do well. I would love to have more story ;D.…
One of the annoying things about playing melee classes in this game (as opposed to ranged) is that you constantly have to put up with being knocked around or stunned or even losing aggro.
Ranged, you don't really have to worry about any of that.

Crafting is mostly worthless.
Cybertech lets you make armor (and mods) for orange shell armor (that is, upgradeable) as well as augment kits, which is a good way to make money (sorta) at end game
Biochem lets you make useful stuff - medkits and…

Looks decent... but, why didn't they introduce customisable ships rather than houses??? I will never understand that decision.
Because many of the cutscenes are in the ship, and making them customizable cou…
Honestly, I would like to never again see one of these areas. Do people honestly do them every day? I did them twice and got sick of it.
What they should do is introduce procedurally generated daily quests. In practice, it wouldn't be all that d…
Originally posted by Insurgent99 LOTRO is one of the only MMOs still around that has a difficult leveling curve. The first 20 or so levels come quick, but after that it is a brutal grind to make any progress. You will literally have hundreds of " ki…
The class stories are fun, but the planet stories get old if you do them more than a couple times. And once you've finished the class stories, there's nothing further in the game worth playing, IMHO.
I think things would have been better if they…
To a certain extent, all games are skinner boxes. But slot machines are almost literal ones.
There is no "play" to them, you just pull a lever and get a food pellet. Slots payout very often, but never as much as they take in.
I've only played part of the Republic side of Makeb, but yeah, it doesn't seem that big.
Awful design, too. Like what, 8-9 areas connected by speeder/taxi. One main quest, one side quest, and one "daily" in each area, and to do the main quest yo…

I've only played KDY (is that a Flashpoint? That's a tactical something anyway), but tanks are useful in that, at least the ending boss fight.
Perhaps not needed, but certainly not unwanted.
Not so much for the first 20 levels, but more and more so as the game progresses. In the original design, not so much, in the redesigned areas, yes.
By the time you reach Isengard (65), it's pretty much completely Quest Hub orientated. To the poin…
