I don't understand what people were expecting concerning the IP. All I know is it certainly looks, feels, sounds, and plays like a Star Trek game. Is that considered "wasted IP"? /shrug

So far I like it too. Not as intimidating at EVE, fun and good looking space combat, away teams, planet missions, configurable ships, etc. It's growing on me.

Movie was good. Visuals were amazing in IMAX 3D. The writing/story was super derivative. All of us have seen this movie before, it just didn't look this amazing. An mmo based on Avatar would be bad. See, I covered all the bases there.
