Legend of Mir 3
First experience of playing with a good guild (Destiny Awaits) and playing in a lot of group content. Guild went on to WoW when it launched. I didn't follow for a couple of years. Thought WoW looked to cartoony after UO and Mir.

In the MMO world, any game maker who dares to charge money for their game is greedy, apparently. You may not agree with the way they monetize the game, you may think it involves pay to win or whatever, but i…
So, just read the whole article and it seems to me is that someone wants there hand held and can't be bothered to work out stuff for themselves.
That is what a lot of us like about BDO. We have to think. Plenty of games out there for the mindle…

Only thing I don't like about this game is after level 30 having one pve only zone open for a few hours off and on everyday. Strange.
Not strange at all, it is a pvp game.
Only thing Trion did wrong with Ar…
Earth and Beyond was a great game. I still wish it was going. It was a sad day when they cancelled that.
A wing Commander MMO would be awesome. THe games show what you can do pve wise. For pvp you just need some uncharted zones.
Housing has to be open world to be important in game. This doesn't leave many options at all.
1 Ultima Online - Open world. People can see your building, you can place npcs, boxes etc outside to sell stuff. Fully decorate inside. No other housin…

I don't have a problem with p2p games. I only buy the ones I want to play, not the ones I want to try just to see what they are like. I do the same with console games, only buy the ones I want. I also don't run around crying that all console games a…
Looking at having a go at this on the EU server. Anyone want to send a refer link? I'll be subscribing for a month for the patch upgrade and to get preferred status afterwards.
What you've described is Ultima Online. It was (and still is) an awesome game. Lots of us really enjoyed playing UO before mmo's became mainstream and bought the instant gratification crowd along.
Really can't be bothered to read through it all.
When we had mmo's with communities that cared about the games, we never had levels. Just skills that you leveled up and imagination (think UO). People wound each other up with there play styles (…
I'd just like a game where the majority of the community is decent and respectful to each other, like we used to have before people realised they could be "hard as nails" over the internet.
