Was just thinking if I should buy it again. Pre-ordered it before, but kinda feel like funding Funcom a bit more. Just to say thanks for making this wonderful game.
Novus AEterno might be something worth checking out. It's still on kickstarter, but already funded. So not a finished product but atleast it's an mmo and seems like something you might be looking for.

I think it's closer to buy to play, Vanguard freemium model came to mind actually. You get to the newbie island where you can get familiar with all the mechanics, but when you ge…
Originally posted by tom_gore Oh by the way. How does Indiegogo work? Do they also need to meet their goal if they are to receive a single penny, as is with Kickstarter? At least in Kickstarter you need to ask for a realistic amount of money or your…
They have a programming bear.
Can't fail!
Pledged many monies.
I seem to have a weakness for the newcomers and underdogs, I toss money at projects that may very well end up belly up. Guess I just want to see something new in the gaming market, I …
At the moment I play FFXIV the most, I'm not saying it's my favourite MMO ever or even at the moment but it has me tied in pretty well. But now that I've read few other comments, I'm starting to wonder if I'm a gamer at all...20-50 hours a week? I'm…
The ones I've backed:
Castle Story - As described by many others, voxel-based freebuild strategy something something...
Shroud of the Avatar - You all know this one, Garriotts new project.

So the main selling point of Xbox One is a feature that has been around for some time now for PS3? Yeah, Playstation Plus is rather useful, no need to update games when I want to play and when I want to download games, I can just queue them up, shut…
Always been a big fan of turn-based games, thus my vote went for that one. But when game is more action based Mount & Blade gives a great example for what is fun. There might be a fight that lasts for minutes, but it can all end with a single hi…
How on earth are people twisting this into a bad thing...? In a way they have sold out their product. They seem to have a very real grasp of the situation, they are not expecting to sell millions month after another. Many businesses go under because…
Aw darn...now I went and bought the game. My number one reason to stay away was the community this payment model would attract. But ANet seems to have that under control. Thanks for posting this...
Noticed this myself. Pretty much just like you did. Odd really...and there's just one rating from today, and that one seems rather positive. So either fans are turning their backs to the game or mmorpg.com had their finger in it. Just can't figure o…
Originally posted by Dakeru Steam deals are great but for MMOs not so much. The only one that goes on sale for cheap once in a while is Rift for 5 bucks.
Guild Wars 1 still costs 50% more on Steam than it does on Amazon.
TSW costs 10 bucks more …
Characters in Diablo games seem to have this kinda "God-complex". I remember the immortal necromancer from D2...that was rather funny...Blood Golem + Iron Maiden did wonders. ^^
True, I've also had hard times in blue mountain. Going through that place solo is a real challenge, even with a small team it takes a while to find what you are looking for, if you haven't done the mission before. I'm pretty sure I know what mission…
