  • Spec is good but lets be realistic, your graphics card sucks, and that plays a huge role in framerates and flow of the game. I'm sure you will be able to play it if you tone the graphics way down but it is a pretty good restraint for performance.
  • AoC doesnt require a super computer, any decent computer will run it but some people have 5 year old computers, im sorry but you should know better than to buy a next gen game for your PC. The thing is Funcom thought of it in the long run, people …

  • Like Darth Pete said it is your memory, you are running vista 64 bit version, get 2 more gigs and you will be fine.
  • Very good, and well thought out post OP, you just nailed it, way to expose all the negative nancies. I would say that for just being out on the market for only a few days, AoC is a pretty good and fun game, and has a lot of potential. People dont …
  • I've played quite a few mmos in my time and I would say that AoC is pretty interesting, it isnt perfect but it offers new combat system which I happen to enjoy a lot (playing an assasin). As far as community goes its really not that bad, kids have…

  • I think your cpu and ram could pull it but i doubt your display card can handle it, it wasnt designed for gaming. If you can upgrade your card to something good 8800 gts or gt or any of the 9 series NVIDIA cards I think you'd be fine.
  • The only thing that seems to weigh you down is your graphics card. Upgrade to an Nvidia one, you can find them pretty cheap, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130317 is a pretty good choice if you dont have PCI express 2.0 Im …

  • Op I think the reason why there is stuff instanced is because of the graphics, it is hard for your average computer to hold that much data for one big massive world, remember that most people dont have high end pcs its usually the gamers.
  • Make sure your motherboard has a pci express 2.0 slot. It will work on a regular pci express too but you wont get the most out of it. Dont get the base 9600GT spend some extra and get a gtx you will love it in the end.

  • Who cares if they sell a lot of stuff thats not made in the US, most of the stuff you own isnt made in the US because if it was you probably wouldnt own it because it'd be so expensive. Even when you buy something foreign the US benefits because of …
  • It may work just fine, I am worried about your processor but also motherboard, if its an old motherboard even though you have a decent gfx card the mobo and processor have a huge effect on how it runs. But wait and see, im sure you will be able to p…
