Originally posted by Techleo I concur with Scribz. I've been playing with my girlfriend on Meneldor for awhile and its just jam packed with players pretty much through all levels of content. Is it me or is there a inordinate amount of couples in th…
I suppose if there's a value to the process of slowly leveling up and gradually earning more skills, getting more powerful etc is the fact that you learn to play your class from the ground up.
I'm sure whatever MMO we're playing (LOTRO in my case)…
Had to google this of course:
"It is extremely rare, but it is possible if there's a full moon and rain. Because moonlight is weaker than daylight, the rainbow will be much fainter. "
As I understand it, Christopher Tolkien owns the rights to (or not to) licence stuff from The Silmarillion, i.e the first and the second age, and his No! has been pretty definitive.
Having said that there must a grey zone in there, what with Firs…
Darklands, the classic single-player RPG from Microrose, set in a semi-realistic mediveal Europe, there's some witches and other folk-lore related enemies but mostly it's a down to earth and realistic world where alchemy just happen to work. Would b…

This is what killed the game for me too, the non-seamless world and the static loading screens whenever you want to go to another part of the continent, completely killing the immersion.
As I have never played WoW or any of the other popular MMOR…

If they did get DX10 in the game, how would that work with the 360?
The XBox360 can't handle DX10 right? Separate servers I guess?
Don't think separate servers are needed, people play LotrO with DX9 and DX10 and…
I love the fact that the outside world is completely seamless (with the expection of that Ered Luin gate, let's hope they do The Tower Hills one day), the way the zones seamlessly blend into each other you can run or ride a horse all the way from An…

Same here, decided to try AoC, found out the world of Hyboria (according to Funcom) is anything but seamless, unlike well, LotRO where you can ride on your horse anywhere in the outside world, from Angmar to Misty Mountains/Forochel, into a large po…
I have to agree about the instancing, it's what killed it for me, in fact entering the "Underhalls" was enough to quickly turn me off this game, now I don't mind a loading screen when entering a dungeon or a large new outdoor area, that's perfectly …
I'm with the sceptics on this one, if there was to be a Star Wars-themed MMO projected to be released sometime next year, surely there would be a big official announcment at E3 this past week, not some random off-hand comment from the EA Boss to som…

Minstrel, cause I get invites and people needing my help all the time, which can be both a blessing and a curse; sometimes I just plan to do some crafting or kill some mobs for deeds, and then some group needs me for some big quest/epic book chapter…
