I'll just say it, the investment for hard discs has dried up. There isn't a return on investment to get more bits out of a disc. That investment has moved on to other storage solutions.

Not worth it if you already have a PC. It will just collect dust. Does nVidia even support it since the GPU is 7-years old? Spec-wise, it's well balanced. No one thing will hold it back. It's held back as a whole.

With a good PSU, 750 watts is probably 100 watts too many. If he was getting an RTX 4090, the 750 watts should still be adaquette. I have only experienced one setup using a single GPU that required 850 watts.
