Yes there is a bug that only allows you to buy 1 pickaxe from a vendor at a time. See you in game. Despite the negativety I still enjoy the game. It has its anoying bugs that they need to fix, but still a great game and I still have fun.

I will answer. As far as funding. StarVault is a publicly traded company. Their financial reports are posted on their company website. They show their operation costs, income, etc. By reading their financials you can see they arent bankrupt.…

I would take a close look at Mortal Online. Its being developed by an "Indy company". Game still has alot of work that needs to be finished, but if you like the genre then I think its a good investment now to buy the game.

I would recommend preordering the game. You get the benefit of being able to beta test the game for a couple of months until it officially releases. I can tell you that the game is great.

As of right now, Mortal Online is so far the most friendly mature gaming community I have participated in for years. I recommend checking them out if you like the sandbox, PvP centric competitive type of gaming.
