Strange, I was in the Beta and had exactly zero communications issues with the developers. They were always forthcoming with update information and set up realistic expectations about downtime. I can't see them doing any less for paying customers.
If they do decide to do a Marvel Universe Online I'd like to see it designed as the Eve Online of superhero MMOs with the player base forming supergroups that belong to 2 or 3 distinct factions (i.e. heroes, mercs and villians) and the game world ch…

As death penalties go, CoH/CoV is fairly light. XP debt is not even earned until after level 10 which increases your chances of survival. They have also added Patrol XP, that is earned while not playing the game, and Notoriety to maximize your XP ga…
+ Space combat: Fun combat with a lot of nice tactical abilities granted by bridge officers and cool looking instances. Ultimately though it plays like a single player game.
+ Character creation: I put this in the plus column but considering t…

I have played CoX since beta and was able to play in the CO beta as well and in my opinion, the only thing that CO has over CoX is the body and face mod capabilities of the character creator and a swinging travel power. CO's biggest downfall is th…
I have to say that while STO makes for a good distraction as a space combat game, it doesn't really feel like a Star Trek game or an MMO for that matter.
I appreciate the fact that it comes in Star Trek wrapper but that is really just so much flu…

It would be fine, if people were allowed to join another ship crew and play together, but so far everyone is the captain with some automated henchmen in there.
STO seems to lack RPG elements and a close to mininal pe…
I was part of the beta for CO and played over this past weekend. I am still not impressed with the graphics, too cartoony for my tastes but I do dig the swinging travel power. As far as the B2P, P2P and in game store are concerned I predict that Cry…

Oh my god, this is the best thing ever. And I'm barely being hyperbolic.
Srsly, after long sessions of playing, I shut my eyes and see the graphics still.
That's retinal damage caused by the over saturated…
For me personaly the game feels a bit like its designed for kids 8-16 then for adults. I know my 10 year old nephew loves the game, he thinks it's pretty cool flying around and having beams shoot out of your eyes. So if you have kids that you wo…
With or without the outlines the look of the game is less comic book than it is Disney/Pixar cartoon. While I get what Cryptic was going for I think that they missed the mark by a wide margin.
