I voted no. Perhaps I am wrong, but my understading is that TR is like Guild Wars, it is not even a MMORPG.
Although it doesn't make a mockery of Star Wars like SWG, purely in terms of featurs TR is worse than SWG even in its current labotomized…
I don't like WoW either. I may give LOTR another try, but I am afraid pre-CU/NGE SWG has ruined me for other MMOs. I've done a bunch of free trial and haven't found any that keep my interests.
Thanks for the insights.
I don't know much about the game I will admit. People on forums referred to it as a rez so I guess I made the wrong assumption. Perhaps I rushed to judgment.

Arguements about the game's combat mechanic's aside, the answer to the OP's original question is "no". Something about Pre-CU SWG "damaged" those who played it. Maybe it was the way the game was butchered and taken…
Interesting perspecitve. I always thought Guild Wars was the antithesis of SWG, even more so than WoW. In SWG you can, or at least could, have a permanent impact on the perisitent world. In GW, there isn't really a persistent world, or not much o…

but the new game, say it just released and it's a mondo production, would you still be dogging it ?
I suppose if you hate Star Wars the current game launched new might be ok. But even as a new release the g…
I wouldn't. Classic servers simply aren't enough. They have to roll back at least Radiant, to November 14, 2005. Anything less doesn't fix the problem.

All of the statements regarding customization via items is no different than any other MMO.
Vanguard's customization comes via the larger number of classes. I view that as about equivalent with WoW. WoW has fewer clases, but there are generally …

I totally agree with the OP. I figured they would eventually sell out the vision, I just never thought it would be this soon. Changing your audiences mid stream can be devestating for a MMO (See SWG NGE).
Leveling is way to easy as it is. I ca…
I think this is more of a each to his own situation. I see all of these are pros. Not saying you are wrong necessarily. Just that Vanguard is closer to what I want out of a game than anything on the market.
