Will keep playing since it's a non-sub game and I enjoy levelling lots of alts and experiences different parts of the game. With a gear grind in that of course means I won't spend another dime in the cash shop, hated it in other MMO's, hate it here.…

Apparently there was a rumour that only people with Nvidia cards got in...to start with.
Which could be with a good reason, as they want to test hardware, and they allre…
Still think Oct. 2012 but it would be nice to see it out before then, while they've shown quite a few features there are still quite a few left that requires a lot of work, when we see crafting and WvWvW demo'd they should be ready to push it out th…
EA, their handling of MMO's in general and WAR in particular should make anyone hesitant to deal with them, the introduction of Pay2Win to WAR is what puts them on the black list for me.
Don't really care if it's an MMO, the title will be big enough with enough regular MMO players to make itself felt across the a lot of MMORPG boards and it's much easier this way to tell people (politely) to take the discussion to the correct game b…
Doesn't really need to go F2P, it already has the worst of both worlds... subscription fee and purchasable stat enhancements etc. from the cash shop. Just cancelled after I read the official confirmation... sad end to so much promise...

Primary reason I'm looking forward to GW2 is WvWvW, there are plenty of other things too.
The B2P aspect is both a pro and a con, it may allow my kids to play it with their own characters but churning out content expansions can have unintended con…
Hmmmm,
Shouldn't this be called "pay to win" rather than "free to play"?
"and Funcom is also introducing an in-game store to the game where both free players and premium subscribers can purchase exclusive content such as weaponry and mounts"
Personally I'd prefer no mounts, adding mounts generally means adding longer travel times in the design phase so it's a zero sum game as far as benefit goes. Flying mounts is a way to naturally keep people out of high level areas, there are other me…
Originally posted by OkhamsRazor I've enjoyed the PVP so far in RIFT as much as I enjoyed Warhammers . But I do think this game really needs to go f2play now . If DDO and Lotro can make a success of it I don't see why Warhammer can't . Same with AoC…
