No gear progression makes it less fun to raid imo.

Looks very interesting. If I'm not mistaken it combines all kinds of different types of worlds? as in from sci-fi to medieval worlds? If so chances are I'll give it an early access try even though I'm not the biggest fan of early access.

The first Guild Wars for sure. Even though I was young and stupid back then and didn't know how to build a decent character, I just played and had fun without caring about being geared up or being the best. Those were the days.
