If it is the original EQ, each race had different starting cities. For a bit, if you start as a wood elf, they will be the only thing you will see for a bit until you explore outward (death is likely if you stretch your legs too early).

I recommend it. There is a free portion at the front end to basically demo it. It downloads as you play so thats not a problem. If you end up not liking it, just stop. Or you can sub for $10 and unlock it all or just buy areas to unlock.

I also got a refund from Sony from the Landmark purchase. It was close to immediate, like a day or two. Pretty close to immediate for this kind of thing. Might as well try it if thats the way you are heading.
