Final Fantasy 14 seems to be one of the last bastions of the subscription only based system . Even Warcraft is now switching to an earn to play format similar to EVE and I wouldn't be surprised by the end of the year it will further its free to play…

I think this is a good idea on Blizzards part . I wouldn't be surprised if they will allow players to play from 1-60 soon for free either ( or maybe higher ) .

I would say play both GW2 has 75 percent off at the moment and if you get in quick before March 17th you can get TESO quite cheeply on Amazon but I would imagine the price will go up once buy to play starts .
