P2W seems to be the preferred method as more and more games go this route. It's making money or they wouldn't do it.

I say make the Jedi class a non starter class, making you work up to being a Jedi then years later change it up and make it a starter class. I think that is a win win scenario. That's how I would make a SW mmo.

I agree, excessive P2W is a deal breaker for me. Marvel Heroes arpg is the same way, pay for experience gain, convenience items, vanity gear, pets and additional storage. It's annoying when the games core is set up to suck you into their store.
