EQ2's garbage engine did more to hurt it than anything, because some idiot thought single-threading it entirely was a good idea and it barely even needs a GPU.

I got mine for 4.3mil or something from some shop. If I remember right, it was the lowest QL one possible. Still loved it. This was in like, 2003 or something way-back-in-ancient-times.

Really the only thing that has kept me away is the terrible engine. I have extremely good hardware and can't run this maxed out at over 30 FPS or so outdoors. It's completely unacceptable.
