Well let's see. My first and favorite MMORPG was Asheron's Call. I loved getting killed by other players when I was a newb...it toughened me up. I also play guitar, and skateboard at my own leisure. I don't know what else to add...so I'll leave it for now.
Then you want Diablo 2, my friend. What's the point of everyone in an MMO being a "hero"? You should be able to become a hero, either through PVP or some PVE equivalent. Everyone is the same in all these MMOs and it's lame.
I seriously can replay Baldur's Gate 2 whenever I want and it's a whole new game. These new games are just so plain and what you'd expect. I don't need lots of movie-style cut scenes or every single line of text to have voice acting. I prefer no…
God, I really wish they would make a genuine Baldur's Gate 3 and not one those so-called movie-style spinoffs. I have been disappointed by almost every BG2 "descendant." Baldur's Gate 2 is like the Oblivion of the isometric D&D-based RPGs, wa…

I play MMOs because I have no real life or friends. True story. Because I am a jerk.
Cool story bro.
yea youre definitely from darkfall.

I always play male characters cause I wish I was 6 foot 5 inches, 250 pounds of solid muscle, with badass metal armor and a cool spear or sword. If I dressed like that in the real world, someone would have me committed to an asylum. If I wanted to…

Try Requiem: Bloodymare.
I know it's typical gameplay but the art direction is pretty cool. It's got decent character creation and the monsters aren't your typicals cutesy ones.
I am playing Battlefield 2 through Steam. I am trying to get ranked up and get as many of the achievements as possible. I also play a free Counter-Strike: Source mod called Insurgency, which is pretty good too.
Hey Nikopol, I never got around to Planescape: Torment. As a BG2 lover, would PS:T do justice for me? I've heard it's a great game but is it linear or open like BG2?

You think the new graphics engine is ugly? You must not be able to play it on high settings.
Entropia does have pretty good graphics, but my vote for best graphics goes to Age of Conan.
If they made an MMORPG that looked and played like Baldur's Gate 2, that would be my vote. But since people think 3d is better because it's newer, I ha…
Try Eternal Lands, it's a lot like Runescape. Not nearly as many players. Also Ashen Empires is similar to Runescape, but looks like a mid-to-late 90s RPG.

Seriously man, try Ashen Empires for a good 2.5d game. It's skill-based, has lots of non-combat skills. Mining, Smithing, Farming...you know, the standard stuff. But it's a fun game and it's now completely f2p. Still a decent sized community too…
