New cpu is now in. benchmark on hi res setting now rates at 2458. so i did in fact get a boost from the cpu. So thats a relief, one small step down. Gotta start somewhere after all

Everything about that cpu sounded like it would be worth the cost. ill be testing out the benchmark for sure once i get that new one in there. Its already shipped so i easily expect it to arrive within the week. Cant wait.
