I logged in long enough to create a couple of toons. Now I'll sit back and wait a few weeks until queues and hype dies down. I hope to get land eventually, but I refuse to powerlevel and/or partake in the land rush. Long-term-casual-mmo-goodness-…
For the story telling alone, it is still one of my favorite MMOs to date, despite its flaws. I would love to see them port the game off of Hero Engine and expand SWG-style. Not going to happen, though, unless I win Powerball and fund it myself
I know mmorpg.com wants revenue, but please stop putting sponsored ads in the main banner window. It's bad enough the page is littered with ads already. Don't make me regret whitelisting mmorpg.com in AdBlocker. tyvm.
I came. I saw. I refunded. Thanks to Steam support for granting it - no questions asked.
I'll tell you, though... I felt it.. if for only a few minutes. That shiny-new-mmo rush. Creating your new toon and stepping into a new, unexplored world.…
I heard about this game about a year ago and then completely forgot about it until I saw in-game footage a few weeks back.
The game looks amazing and I can't wait to play. I only wish it were an MMORPG minus the fast-travel feature.
@BillMurphy is wrong. :P SWTOR is the #1 story-driven game on MY list followed by LOTRO, ESO, GW2.
SWTOR is definitely at the top of my list for story. GW2 story is barely tolerable, imho.
I'm getting verklempt looking at these nostalgic screenshots. Missing my DAoC Smite Cleric about now.
The list seems pretty fair. I always gravitate toward PvP servers and wish there was more open world pvp in every game.
Great list! Though I agree that AC should be on there for sure. I am also 'still' really fond of SWTOR. I've played everything on the list (and a multitude of other mmos) extensively except City of Heroes.
