The closest AAA sandbox I think we had the oppurtunity to play was created released way back in 1997. The early days of Ultima Online was as perfect as an MMO could ever be. Lets hope Pax Dei is the start of something amazing.

I STRONGLY suggest you keep logging into the client if you get ONLY the small 50meg patch. Otherwise you will be waiting in line with others sharing the bandwidth downloading the 5 Gig patch....and that wont make the baby jeebus happy. -Rig
