The OP was talking about buying the latest expansion and NOT being able to finish the story within the expansion, thus staying subbed until Blizzard decides to "let out" the next chapter. This seems to be a fairly recent practice …

Seriously of all the insidious money grabbing schemes in video games, ppl want to moan about an mmo that hasn't upped it's prices in like a decade and a half because they have to pay for the expansion while being subbed? The entitlement is astoundin…
I remember a while back Riot said they wanted to make a Fighter game too. Now an mmo? Not sure why they have the desire to take a risk on niche gaming markets with extremely spoiled and particular communities.
We hotfixed the epilepsy part to induce less epilepsy! Is that the right message to be sending to epileptics? They should probably outright avoid it still shouldn't they?
There's an article posted about how a part of this game which induces epilepsy now induces less epilepsy... I would consider avoiding it altogether if you suffer seizures. Just do your research first.
Gotta be honest, that last vid actually made the game look acceptable. Kudos to the team for that. I have no clue if it's good or garbage, but at least they're making progress. Now if you'll excuse me I have to read an essay from the CU developer on…
It would be cool if it turned into something like super mario maker. The only "award" though would be the prestige of beating a dungeon with a low clear rate.

Yesterday someone pointed out that there were 3k users on launch day.

People will disagree but I think they would've been better off sticking with the MMO no matter how terrible it was an…
Half of the stuff you said that makes pvp complicated also makes pve complicated. Half of the stuff you said that makes pve uncomplicated also makes pvp uncomplicated. Balance is under a microscope in both in modern mmos. Full-fledged well-done pve …

I feel like people who never played the original will enjoy it. I feel like people who can't accept that it's no longer 1991 will hate it. I knew which category this review fell into in the first sentence.

tl:dr: Homegenization is actually fine if used sparingly.
For the sake of argument, I do believe homegenization is not always bad. By homogenization, I mean as described in the OP that two classes have relatively the same strengths and weaknesses w…
I appreciate the images. I can definitely tell the difference from your images!
Overall, raytracing from a laymen's point of view (namely mine), seems to blur shadows to give them a more natural look. This is mostly good, however in some of those p…

The more you compartamentalize abilities like attack, defense, magic defense, healing, resource building, avoiding attacks, etc. The more roles you create.
Let's say there's a game where there's certain magic attacks from the enemy that absolutely …
Glad you liked Ardenweald. Nature scenery has always been my favorite in WoW, ever since Vanilla with the Night Elf starting zones and Ashenvale. I'm most interested in Ardenweald too. Very beautiful and peaceful environment.
