Grandmasters is the mobile app. FFXI is not going mobile.
If you look at Kotaku's article, Grandmasters is a separate application from the MMMORPG (yes, three Ms due to the addition of "mob…
I've been following Skyforge for a little over a year now and I absolutely cannot wait to play this game. All of the classes seem very well thought out and unique. Very excited!!!
Lets keep in mind here that they buffed Maat about a year ago so he's not the big pansy you all remember. I'm really not sure why they did but he is much harder now. The fight focuses much more on defense compared to the old TP wing and zerg of old…

As a player of GW2, WOW, EVE and many more... please don't feel sorry for me. I am doing just great.

Seriously though. People bitched about a sub fee on re-release. This is exactly why there is a sub.
Great content being pumped out almost f…
Now is probably the best time to come back and play. No real need for most abyssea gear outside of macro pieces now. All the new armor and weapons are pretty easy to get. They have introduced new upgraded AF and new hard mode Ark Angel fights. There…
I feel the same way, OP. I too frequent new MMOs just to be disappointed and bored in a month or two. I keep going back to my first love, FFXI. There is a special place in my heart for this game and it seems I will probably play till they shut the s…
I have been finding a good balance between GW2 and FFXIV lately. FFXIV scratches my trinity itch with it's dungeon content and GW2s Living Story is there to fill my need for event type solo stuff.
I leveled both my tank jobs solely doing fate grinds. Much better than having to go through the DF and getting stuck with a bunch of derpy bitches. A lot of tanks do the same thing on my server because the people in DF are either pricks or too stupi…
I can take or leave PvP in this game. If I really need my PvP fix bad enough I can just play GW2 for a bit. From what I hear though the PvP in FFXIV will be great. It just wont be there for the first couple patches.

If that was actually a class in XIV I would totally play that
My bad, Arcanist. lol

From my understanding all classes goto 50, but you can equip an orb you get through a quest to turn into your job.

I'm going to start off by taking my MRD to the low 20s so I can get access to a Chocobo. Then I will level Miner and Armorer to cap and make some money while others level. Then go back and finish MRD and probably start fisher.
If this game ever goes FTP I will stop playing. I like playing PTP games because it keeps a lot of the less desirable players from playing. I also can't stand the cash shop mentality of today's games. In-game items should be quested and worked towar…
