It's almost impressive how much these devs waffle around. First the game was designed to be fun for PvP but fair to PvE, then they removed the fair to PvE bit, then they removed the fun.
Now they claim they're moving back to PvP focus when ever…
So did they just erase the Gearbox labelling and replace it with Arc Games (Previously known as Perfect World Entertainment)?
The wording is rather strange since Gearbox can't become Arc, but can be replaced by it.
I enjoyed Wayfinder until I realized they were trying to emulate Digital Extremes and Warframe with the multiple layers of grind and crafting. I never did get my free character from being a founder because the system was just too annoying to fool wi…
I must be pretty jaded with the games industry. It actually shocked me Gaijin responded to the issue in a timely manner, instead of letting it sit for a few weeks while people gave them money without knowing any better.
They need to overhaul crafting and hero acquisition for the game to have any real appeal outside of diehard masochists.
I recognized their Warframe inspired crafting during the founder access, and they took it way too far.
Jagex seems to love coming up with ways to screw the playerbase. Taking away the forums is almost as bad as suddenly deciding the game needs an action hotbar with generic RPG attack skills and cool downs.
So instead of finishing the original release, they figured they would pull a stunt like Larian with Divinity II: Ego Draconis/Director's Cut and just resell it with all the fixes and additional content.
Nice.
They're reducing crafting even more? Restricting higher tier gear to raids and PvP is how you build an incredibly toxic community. This results in groups that deny party entry unless you have X gear score, but the only way to get X gear score is to …
After Archeage, folks are a little touchy with property ownership being tied to subscriptions. Most would be fine with an upfront box price and an optional subscription, and a free trial with limited function.
I enjoyed Worlds Adrift, and I can't wait to play Lost Skies. WA's biggest issues were it's cloud based servers and the small zones. Lost Skies, hopefully, has neither of those.

Maybe indies shouldn't make mmos.....I think Albion is the only 'successful' indie mmo?
Indies shouldn't make an MMO as their first game. There are other successful indie MMOs, but those devs had other games in their…

Looks a hell of a lot better and more fluid than anything Ship of Heroes has done.

RF Online has been rebooted so many times, I doubt it'll ever see the light of day.
When it first came out a little over 10 years ago it was neat, but didn't get enough traction to stay alive. It's been in development hell ever since.
3 Things a sandbox survival needs to for me to enjoy it.
Customization beyond a handful of face options, subtitles if it's dialogue heavy, and satisfying building.
So far it looks like Coreborn lacks all 3.
It absolutely blows my mind that someone would be so bold as to try to pass a modded private server as their own game.
Some official game publishers tolerate private servers as long as they are not directly monetized. Shenanigans like this puts…
Why does the author seem to be afraid of saying "private server"? Took me a bit to figure out what what going on with this article until they mentioned the Warhammer private server. Never heard the term "freeshard" before.
It's a shame they won't address the real issue. Spammers can make new accounts in mere seconds thanks to Microsoft's account system. They can ban all day and all night but we'll still be inundated with annoying spam in-game. Last night I was chil…

So then it comes back to PROVING the developer PROMISED to deliver a game and imo that never happened.
Um that's easy to prove... the Kickstarter itself was a promise to deliver the product…
