Very expensive lesson learned here. I will never purchase another early development game again. There's no way in hell that any of the packages that daybreak games sold are worth their price for whatever the hell landmark is.
:/ that's so sad, and right before the holidays! I hate reading things like this. I can only imagine what is going on with them and their families right now.
Yes, I'd still play it. I really don't care what they're labeled as.. The things that bar me from playing games include graphics requirements (which I haven't hit one yet thankfully) or subscription (I try to limit myself to 2 subs per month).
I guess I'm in the unpopular opinion camp of still playing + paying for WoW and finding WoD fun. I think a few people hit the nail on the head though:
1. A lot of people are disbursing through MMOs because there are more choices for people to have.…
I know a lot of players might not always want to, or might not be able to, but I always try to sub to MMOs I'm playing. I never do the reoccuring sub even if you get a "deal" but that's because I MMO hop (yes.. I admitted it). I'm not so sure f2p is…
I don't know what to believe at this point, but I just hope that people don't get ripped off and get the game that they've hoped for. I also hope this game doesn't ride the hype train to oblivion like SWTOR did. (That being said, I still love + play…
Well.. I can't figure out how to edit my posts.. but I just wanted to include that I'm impressed that they're sticking with their release schedule. That's a feat in itself!
I have my suspicions that Blizzard will unveil more information at BlizzCon.. I mean the whole purpose of ordering the online ticket and/or going there is to hear new and exciting information about Blizzard games. That being said, I think they ar…

I manged to get in, made a stalker, got to 14 almost 15, realized that nothing has changed and the game still has an extremely stagnant leveling system, logged off. When does this game become fun?

You've got a great list! I'm glad you included Rift, it's extremely new user-friendly. There are a ton of tutorials in the game to tell players how to navigate certain aspects of the game and even a video for the soul tree. Not to mention there are …
I used to love the heck out of this game, but got seriously frustrated over every single awesome mount being behind a lock box. I understand that they need lock boxes in order to entice free to play people to buy something once in a while but I don'…

MMOs are seriously too afraid when it comes to stick out from every other game. No one dares to try outstuff like this and that means that there really isn't much reason to play your game compared to the rest on the market.

I hear you. I wish they'd make a game with no levels and actually mean it. Every game that I've played so far that has said "no levels" still has this horrible grind to unlock gear that takes a certain hitpoint in x skill or prestige or some other n…
Their panel at quakecon didn't mention anything about housing, as much as I can remember. They did have some pretty sweet concept art for other things though. The Imperial City looked really exciting!
