When was the last press release about EQ 2 subscription numbers? Last one I remember was like 6+ months ago at 300000. Knowing SOE loves to market, a lack of press releases about sub numbers for so many months is the first sign that it is struggli…

Lol, WoW is far worse than GW. WoW is nothing more than an average mmorpg with a little less grind but with a terrible community existing of 13 years old who's goal it is to be as 1337 as possible. No thanks, bye by…

WoW was designed with the casual gamer in mind. EQ2 was not.
"Appearances" can be deceiving. Wow goes from one end to the other the last 10 levels or so, content wise. Plus hasn't EQ 2 been trying to make itself m…
Looks like it is the real thing, in draft form. Cay also mentioned in a post directly talking about points in the leak about hunter changes: "Not really. While I did bring up some issues to them beforehand and some Hunter changes are going in, I've…

Finding groups in WoW is much easier especially with the addition of gathering stones in front of dungeons.
You know, I like WoW and all, but those stones were implemented very, very badly. Especially on PvP servers,…
I will say one thing. Blizzard sucks at documenting their patch notes. There are TONS of additions not listed in that patch, and some are quite profound. All the graphic card additions/fixes/tweaks have really made this game look awesome (go play…

I don't think if PvP is balanced/created from early in the game design, that it will ever be balanced correctly. If you balance everything around a PvE perspective, it will take forever, if impossible to balance pvp without destroying pve.

All new games have server issues, some more then others. All the ones people said don't have issues have been out a year plus and are also not at their all time highs for subscribers. Anyways, beyond queues, it seems it is the same 20 servers that…
It's a new, yet as usual, controversial idea from SOE. We'll just see how it works. Only thing I can think coming from this that may harm SOE is Blizzard making their own "trash talking ad" back at them. "Why go to EverPaying, when you can get ma…
Awesome info, too bad it came from Blizz-EU first
Anyone into PvP NEEDS to read this article, fan of WoW or not. Only complaint is the dishonor system and that it is pointless in its first rendition.
Serious problems have only occured on at most 1/4 of the servers. The only thing that annoys others are queues, but performance wise lag is spotty(ie random and uncommon), and I play on one of the more popular servers.
Here are some "features" to look forward to in the next month (or two). Gives you time to level up to them if you get the game soon:

I agree and also am happy that Blizz is the first MMO company to start doing things right: on major features, make sure they deliver, even if it takes extra time. Game may have been released without them but they admittely taking more time then exp…
There are now 88 servers up and running in NA after two days. That is astonishing, as many are overflowing still with queues. Granted we may not know what the server cap is, but during the stress tests it was about 4000 before the server had issue…
