As CD Projekt Red says W3 is the last game with Geralt as main char I'm quite sure the next Witcher game will have Ciri as main char. So long... Just forgot: Witcher 3 is an incredibly good game.

One solution might be you leave the game and wait for a fix and let one of the 2000+ waiting in queue make the same experience.
