Yeah, I'm not looking to listen to trolling specifically, but like the other poster said, I was kind of expecting to hear people chatting on their mics or see some text scrolling around or something and I was kind of surprised it wasn't there. Just…
I'm with the guy who said if your choices are ESO or SWToR....go Rift. Haha. I am playing ESO right now, but Rift is free and one of the most polished MMOs out so it is no risk at all.
I have been playing Rift for about 3 years now and I still can't find anything that could replace it. I played WoW for 5 years before Rift and got so sick of the cartoony graphics that when I tried Wildstar I couldn't play for more than a few minut…
These forums are saturated with haters and people who spend all day complaining and attacking any and every game out there. If you don't join the bashing bandwagon you are called a fanboy and an attempt is made to dismiss your opinion. That being …

I am with this guy. If I don't agree 100% with a review then author is completely biased.
To the OP, well done. I have already decided to play, but watching the video and hearing all of the good things the game has to offer just psyches me up for launch.
I believe they made the starting islands optional, now. I honestly didn't mind them at all, but I will agree that they didn't really grab you all that much. They could have spiced up the excitement a little, but I still enjoyed it.
What I really wanted to see was a ganker spec for my cleric. I am sick of rogues popping out and getting me when I am not expecting it. I need CLERIC STEALTH!!! Then I would teach those little pukes a lesson! Haha!

Quit trying to get me back into the game. It won't work.
Are you sure? I was just there a minute ago and they have cookies!
Originally posted by ZoeMcCloskey I still feel stealth classes should fill the role of scouting mainly. They should also be at a severe disadvantage against real warrior classes and even against casters or such. I think it should require 3+ stealt…
Originally posted by Baikal I always love the people saying it is unfair, and it's even funnier here in ESO.
Bottom line is everyone can sneak, so it's not in the least unfair. Every class has strengths and weakness, so should we all complain abou…
Originally posted by Incomparable Its as if they look at the lore of the stealther that goes after weak targets and succeeds and just focus on making that work. Even though in a game its different since 1. balance is important and 2. the stealths ta…
I suspect it will be P2P for a year or so and then go F2P, similar to SWToR. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though, since the F2P transition gives the devs another shot at getting the game in front of people. Don't forget some people will pay …
I really enjoyed playing the beta and I have to respectfully disagree about the abondoned starting areas the author spoke of. There were so many playing when I was on that I had problems with people snatching items I needed before I could get there…
I agree that people's expectations are shaping their views way too much on this game, when they should just be experiencing it the way it is before jumping to conclusions. I am personally loving it, but the endgame PVP is what will make or break it…
I love it, although I'm waiting in an hour-long queue right now. I am not a big Elder Scrolls fan, but this is still a definite buy for me. Now, if they would just bring that price tag down a little. It seems a little bit like a slap in the face,…
That was hilarious. I started laughing when the characters did the horse riding dance. Someone just HAS TO put the gangam style dance in one of these games. Rift already has the Beyoncé put-a-ring-on-it dance.
For the most part, I am with Bill on this one. I think more challenge and better design is what is needed more than full loot and constant threat of being killed. I want some danger in my MMOs, but I don't want them to be like EVE, where you can l…
