I started playing the game yesterday during the headstart and I was hesitant at first because I typically don't enjoy Korean mmorpgs. However, after two play sessions I am level 26 and really enjoying the game. Yes, there are things I don't like (ge…
I think a lot of people are missing the point here. Stadia isn't about flashy graphics or "the perfect gameplay experience." It's about accessibility. If all you care about are the flashiest graphics and frame rates, Stadia is probably not for you. …

Since just about any PC these days can play ESO why even bother with a streaming service?
The appeal for a lot of people is being able to play games like ESO on the go. I was able to run dungeons with friends the othe…
I've been playing ESO on Stadia for the past few days and I love it! Granted, I have a Pixel 4 XL phone, so I can play it on the go with no issues as long as I have wifi. It's wonderful to be able to just click a button and start playing without hav…
I just found out that John Smedley is heading Amazon Games... I had such high hopes for this. I will probably cancel my pre-order now. The only thing Smedley knows is how to ruin games and make them into cookie cutter cash grabs. He did it with Star…
Star Wars Galaxies had the Teras Kasi profession. You can still play it on emulator servers. It had hand to hand combat and you could meditate to heal wounds/self buff.
The quests in Vanilla WoW were more difficult and took a bit more "figuring out" in some regard. The wording of the quests would be more vague such as "Look southwest of x lake" and you're trying to find a chest or something. Back then quest items w…

"I want a harder game because you have to figure things out.
Not because it takes more XP or you do less damage or can't heal as well.
I don't want the numbers game, I want a thinking game.

Also don't forget that in Classic you have to do class quests at various points to unlock class features such as the Druid's various shapeshifting forms and the Shaman's totems, or the paladin's rez spell etc.. Plus Shaman and Paladin are faction lo…
Personally, I too loved the flagging system of SWG. It allowed me to participate in PvP when I felt like it and go "covert" and hunt krayt dragons or Night Sisters when I just wanted to PvE. I thought it was a great compromise between the two.

There are new social tools within the Blizzard app that will let you connect with people easier than before. For one you can add someone to your Battle Net friends list and chat with them even when you're not in game. You can crea…
Jump to Lightspeed was an amazing expansion for SWG. It added the ability to explore space and engage in space combat like no other game I've played since. Plus it tied in nicely with the base game in that you could become a shipwright and craft upg…
My all time top 5 MMORPG soundtracks (subject to change):
#1 Star Wars Galaxies ... it's John "freakin" Williams
#2 Elder Scrolls Online ... the lute music is amazing
#4 Final Fantasy XIV ... Nobuo Uematsu
#5 World of Warcraft ... despite what peop…
Bill, I agree with you on this one.
The Good: I love this game. I hit CP 183 the other day and haven't even touched the DLC content yet. There is so much to do. Also, TES lore is some of my favorite when it comes to video games or fantasy world…

Nice article Garrett. I can totally relate. I miss a lot of the social systems that were built into earlier games like Star Wars Galaxies. I'm not talking about the state of current emu's where you can have 10 alts that do everything on a macro. Rat…
$10 is a great deal for the base game IMO. I initially paid over $100 for the CE when the game first launched. The Crown Store in ESO has a great "a la carte" system for purchasing the DLC's etc. if you decide you want them later. As others have sai…
Have they improved the poor english language localization yet? The grammar was atrocious and sounded like it was translated using google translate. Actually, Google translate probably would have done a better job. As one who actually reads dialogue …
