The combat system is definately going to be interesting. The biggest issue I forsee is lag, which is always a big issue. Especially in MMOs where you may have hundreds of players in one location at a time.
There is plenty of innovation, but it is still trapped inside the MMORPG genre, so there is only so much they can do really.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is an issue with Telia, they always screw up with new games. I expect ISPs haven't sorted out the QoS for GW2 yet as it's still new.

I love guild wars 2 but think MMOs in general are probably a dieing breed and nothing can really bring them up to scratch. It's going to take an entirely new kind of game to truely be revolutionary.
Beats the hell out of wow that's for sure. Probably the best implementation of underwater combat in any mmo to date and I hope other game publishers take notes.
If you need to do it for machinima purposes and the options don't allow you to zoom in far enough then memory editing is an option, but it would be against the ToS and risk a ban.
