I have played RPGs since I was in my early teens. Starting off with D&D 3E, I rapidly advanced to computer gaming with titles such as Baldur's Gate and Diablo. Eventually I started playing MMOs like DaoC and was hooked. Since then, I've developed an interest in Computer Science and programming and work to further my knowledge and interests in game design and the industry.
I am really enjoying Savage Melee / Bio Armor on my Brute. BA has a power that allows you to switch between three different modes to adjust to your situation (defensive/regenerative/offensive) and pairs wonderfully with SM. My level is in the upper …
I have yet to hit 50 and start earning champion points, but I pass the time by leveling up crafting skills so I can make stuff for my future house. I want to explore the housing system and see what I can make.
I'm always up for experimenting with a new MMORPG before their full release. It gives me something to write about and share with others! I'd like Revelation Online to be one of them.
Seeing the way the Revenant's powers and skills are being handled is the most exciting thing I have learned so far. The GW2 team is demonstrating that they truly are looking for new ways to build upon and expand what their game is capable of and not…
I'm most excited to play Wildstar because of the original IP. Being able to discover everything in a brand-new fleshed-out universe is something I have been wanting to do in a MMORPG for a while now. The housing system is also very intriguing, and I…

What's to stop people in the videogame 'black market' from setting up a Craigslist-style item-selling site to bypass the fees sanctioned by the in-game AH? This is just my opinion, but I don't think Blizzard has all their bases covered when it comes…
If Bioware is serious about sticking with the game for 15 years, keeping the game fresh and interesting, I'm all for it. We'll just have to see if their words have any weight.
There are no classes, really. Your character is defined by the weapons and armor you equip. At it's core, there are three weapon groups to choose from, all with variants: Swords, Guns, and Bombs. You have two weapon slots so you can swap between wea…
Try out Spiral Knights. It's a F2P game that's centered around dungeon-crawling and crafting. The theme has a lot of old school flavor, drawing from games like Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and Phantasy Star. You can group, or go solo; guilds ar…
Looking at this preview, I'm kind of wary now about the new expansion, or at least the goblins. I enjoy a bit of light-heartedness every now and then in the game, but this seems a little out of touch with what the Warcraft history has led me to thin…
