I haven't found an MMO with controls that I couldn't master. I usually quit MMOs if the community sucks. That is precisely why I bailed on WoW and started with Ryzom. The community of Ryzom was better.
I have felt that sensation before. When I tried WoW I was utterly disappointed, but I loved the large community of gamers in an MMO community. I shopped around, tried stuff out, and that is how I landed on Ryzom; and I never looked back.
I definitely prefer less realism. I play in the sci-fi genre. Why should anything be realistic? I love Ryzom's futuristic armor designs. I think that it definitely enhances my game play.
I would say that the best MMO players are from Ryzom. While they are in short supply, they are extremely polite and helpful. Too many MMOs have rude communities that drag the fun out of the game and render them un-fun.
Wow, what a fun topic. I like that there are so many options to choose from. You can really get a good feel for everyone's interests in gaming through inspection of their choices. I have only ever played WoW and Ryzom so I really have no third choic…
I enjoy the Ryzom model of running a marketplace. I have the option to sell my items to NPCs, but I can also sell them to other players using the NPC as my shop.I love being able to set my own prices and wait for people to pick up the items I am sel…
Well, at one point in time I would say I'd like to see Bethesda make one. However, now I have found out that one is in the works. That's exciting! I can play their Elder Scrolls-based MMO alongside Ryzom.
I have to disagree. I think that I play agame specifically for the social aspects of it. Why play Ryzom alone when you can join a guild and spend hours wandering the planet? Sure, we can teleport to certain places, but I prefer to drag out the exper…
I honestly believe that MMORPGs are going backward as far as their creation. We are seeing games now that are being released far before they have been accurately created in the first place. I think that games such as WoW, Aion, Ryzom-- those that ha…
Well, I prefer the point and click because I play Ryzom on my laptop and I have no mouse. If I actully had to aim using the touch pad there is no way I would ever win a fight. That and I use a sword and dagger character so I don't really see the nee…
I am a nerd because I have fallen in love with the sci-fi genre. I think that everyhing I do for recreation now, aside from writing poetry, is related to science fiction. I am writing a science fiction novel, I play a science fiction MMO (Ryzom), an…
Well, it's definitely a nice Final Fantasy 8 reference. In fact, I am surprised you haven't been busted for copyright violation. However, I think it sounds interesting and I may have to check it out sometime.
I just never played a character that adhered to stereotypes. I think that it is a shame that that i the draw for a good Role Playing character in your opinion. I like to be creative and break the mold.
I measure the success of an MMO by how much fun I have when I play it. I don't care about how many people play it or how much money the developers make. Honestly, it should all be about how much people enjoy the game. If I like it it succeeds in my …
I really do love grinding in games. I think that I have a different mindset than most though because I like to aspire to be the best player on a server. I grind to achieve higher levels and greater power and I do so without complaint because if the …

Well I would encourage grouping in ryzom from the…
Sci-fi Fantasy games are my favorite most definitely. I am sick of playing games set in ancient times. I mean, Oblivion is cool, but I don't want to spend hours on the computer swinging a sword at elves and gnomes and what not. I like unique races a…
I think that a Zelda MMO could work. I think that ultimately you would have to keep people from being Link, but you get the races. I for one would love to be a Kokiri, problem is I could never leave the forest.
I would say that the most important aspect of an MMO is the community. I mean, the game can be great, but if the community is full of people who want to be mean to others or intentionally try to ruin everyone else's fun then the game itself suffers.…
