Is it too late for me to post the I TOLD YOU SO! .gif?
Oh well.
Can we finally learn from our mistakes and never again fall for cheap cash grabs guys?
You, your pride and selfworth , me, every sane gamer and the gaming industry as a whole will be be…
One of these days game developers will step up and put their money where their overly promising yapping mouth is.
Today is not one of those days and the developers I'm talking about are not to be found in this failed project..

It's not settings problem.
The highest end CPU and GPU can't run a MMO that looks like a Single player game (graphics wise) , that's why MMOs don't look as real as SPGs.
So theres no reason to put them in a MMO when nobody can really enjoy them.
OP most of the featurers you mentioned are easy to implement but in many MMOs they aren't because they are resource hogs.
Sure, when you are solo and not moving much it will look grand and all but add a raid force fighting a swarm of mobs or even a …
Ideal for me would be AoC type of combat but without combos what-so-ever.
So, collision detection + AoE hits for melee = realistic melee combat + targeting available for ranged.
Combos as in AoC is nonsense, can do without.

Connectivity and performance of western made MMOs have always been lacking at launch, even the AAA titles and has been tolerated to an extent depending on the hype of the game released but that shit wont fly anymore thanks to so many asian grinders …
OP think about this.
Big gaming companies losing interest in MMORPGs is the best possible news for the genre.

This thread is a prime example of why open world PvP games never last.
Look at all these PVP essays, novels and walls of text typed in this thread.
People clearly feel strongly about it, it's a game breaking issue for many.
It sucks for me though be…
