You could pay to buy AP/SP in The Secret World as well and there isn't wasn't really necessary because you could farm it pretty easily... but if they've adjusted the AP/SP gain at max level then it might be more valuable.

I could never get into the Witcher series. A game that doesn't let you design your own character isn't a really a RPG in my opinion, it's missing the whole role playing part.
