If there is auto combat like the beta had then the game is dead to me at least.

I played a long time ago, but I basically flew for 45 minutes trying to get to the next planet over, ran out of gas and was stuck. Does that still happen or is travel improved any?

The dialogue is great imo, but gameplay is just meh. Worth playing still.

Pro tip: If you preorder on Steam you get access to the beta and can still refund the game if you don't like it or don't want it. It uses a beta client and not the normal client, so your hours don't count towards playing it.

Definitely not my type of game. Can't really put my finger on it, but it felt soulless. Will be skipping, but am grateful for the demo!

It's super slow paced from what I can tell. I only played one match, but it was about 10 minutes of looting, my squad ran into one team and we wiped them, ran into one more team and wiped them and we won. That was it lol.

Don't hold your breath for them to optimize it further. It's been out in 3 different countries already and we are number 4. They fixed a memory leak related to the UI by redesigning the UI from the ground-up. I would not expect them to improve much …

Loving DnL as well! Nice change of pace from Ark. The world is very immersive IMO and fun. I agree it feels more like an MMO than a survival game.
