It's entertainment. Just like in most films, people expect males to look masculine and muscle bound and females to look feminine and (dare I say it) cute.
GW2 gives you plenty of options for covering up if you fell it necessary but you won't get t…

The term 'whining' has very negative connotations and can really get peoples backs up. Personall…
I really do like GW2 and I'm really looking forward to playing it but I have to agree with the OP here. Players SHOULD be able to set their UI up any way they want. Personally I think the game is good enough for me to adapt to it but that shouldn't …
I haven't joined a guild (yet?) so I'll just choose a server with what looks like a name I can live with and see how it goes. It's possible to change server so it's not a *huge* choice.
I can't speak for everyone else of course but I got nothing out of WoW at all. I tried it, lasted about a fortnight before the childish graphics and boring gameplay got the better of me. Some people like it, I don't understanhd why but I don't feel …
If you don't want to play the game then don't play it...simples.
Why do certain people feel a compulsion to try to put others off? I wonder if they get some sort of perverse pleasure out of denigrating anything they don't personally like?

Personally I don't think 'open world pvp' is anywhere near as popular as some people would like to think. I…
I've been running around like a headless chicken in the BWE's because of the limited time available. Once the game has been released, there's no rush. I intend to take things easy and explore (like I've never explored before!). GW2 will most probabl…

I was never that impressed with GW1. Probably because I never really understood what was going on. I'll keep it installed and will probably look in every now and then but it's not a game I put much time into and I don't see that changing.
Can't imagine why on earth they'd do something like this. If someone has a bad ping in a PvP game, they'll be a sitting duck. Surely it's up to them if they want to continue to play like that. Sounds very odd...
To me that sounds too ridiculous for words.
Being banned because someone halfway round the world made a configuration error on a router? No thanks.
If that's in their terms and conditions, I suppose we can at least be grateful that they gave us w…
After seeing the Sylvari npc's in Divinity's Reach, I've decided to stick with human characters! I don't like the Sylvari's shiny faces! They are a novel race though, was anice idea to include something 'different'.
I've grown bored of your average MMO. Only game I've played in the last few weeks (apart from GW2 beta and stress test) is Torchlight. Once GW2 is relased I'll be playing that, until then, it's just singe player games for me.
That's not a nice situation to be in these days but frankly, if your internet access isn't going to be capable of dowloading the data required to install the game, you won't be having much fun playing it either. It'll be choppy and you'll be rubberb…
