This article makes it sound like that Vanguard is still playable and not only by emulator. Can anyone confirm whether or not this game is still able to be played without having to go through the emulator? I really do miss it.

Would be an amazing day should a reboot or even a Vanguard 2 ever come to light. Doubt it but one can hope. Still best MMO I've played...and that's among a lengthy list.

Vanguard should be in the 2 slot with City of Heroes at #1. Loved CoH and VG is still my favorite MMO to date. Haven't found any world as open and explorable as Telon in any fantasy themedraft MMO since VG.

Unsure about my feelings on this. Have been out of the console market since PS2, but if EQ:Next is on PS4....and is cross platform with PC, I might consider getting the PS4 instead of a new PC rebuild.
