A computer hobbyist since they were manufactured from beads on sticks, I've been playing various "adventure" games since the earliest days of computers. I became a MUD addict, and found a home on the Legends and Lore Mud, dying my way all the way up to Avatar. Being a loyal member of that particular mud for longer than most players (and having died so often my goddess couldn't believe it, and having died where you shouldn't have been able to thereby crashing the mud, pity was taken upon me) and the owner / supreme deity promoted me to immortal status, where I became a minor deity myself.
Friends and my sister had sometime later started playing EQ, and encouraged me to try it. As a druid (with an alt cleric), I became a reasonably capable healer. It was great. But now I love WoW much more.
