Newbie question: Building, money chairs

Hi,

I'm new to SL and have some questions:

-is there a height limit when I want to build a building on land?

-why do Casinos offer free money just for sitting in their chairs? Afaik SL doesnt pay any more for visitor traffic and not all people visiting a club/casino play games! So where is the advantage to the casino owners throwing money at the people?

    I have a idea about that, even though money chairs give money the money ussaly comes back in the casino and there is build height although the items have a height limit BUT you can build another on that and so on.

    The more people that come to get your free money, the more your property stands out on the map. You can get lots of active map traffic by having lots of idle people on your property.

    Plus, the previous poster is right, if you do the math right, you can make it so that you make more money from the active traffic than you pay out to the idle traffic.
