Che Guevera T-shirts???

I see a LOT of "Che" t-shirts in my region of the country and have come to a few conclusions wich i will point out.

Here they are:

1.The people wearing these t-shirts are attempting to be trendy.

2.An individual made cash off this.My basic understanding of communism is that there is NO individual only the "party of the people".

3.Based on the above 2 conclusions "Che" is more than likely rolling over in his grave.

Here is what happened to me last week.

So im getting diesel fuel in the truck i make deliveries in and i happen to look over to the next pump.I see a woman wearing a "Che" t-shirt.She is getting gas as well.

In her Cadiilac Escalade.

All the while proudly displaying her "Che" shirt.I personally was mortified. The whole scene was surreal. Here she is living in a capitalist society wearing a t-shirt with a man who is revered as a hero of communism and "freedom" to people arounf the world. She has a 40k car at the least buying gas at 3 bucks a gallon and is wearing what appears to be desigber jeans.

Meanwhile Cuba exists in what can only be seen as a 3rd world state of mind.

What do you think of this?

My wife's family is Cuban and ive heard the stories of what they went through. Her family lost everything in the revolution.A once prosperous nation reduced to nothing. Her father and uncle spent 3 years in prison over there for attempting to smuggle out family jewelry that had been passed down generation to generation.

Occasionaly she has a cousin that goes over there. She tells of horrible conditions and the state mistrusting its own citizens so much that they are routinely jailed.

Her family were of a class that was supposedly helped out by Castro's vision. But like i said they had everything taken from them they had earned through hard work and it was "redistributed" to the people.

Can you imagine the US govt just announcing matial law and taking everything away from you?Or how about the police knocking on your door and saying "Your house is now property of the govt and this man you have never met is living with you.Oh byw he is entitled to EVERYTHING you now own because we are all equal in the eyes of communism".

That in a nutshell is what happened to her family.

I only bring this up because the tshirt disgusts me to no end. Some people think of Che and Castro as heroes. To me it is obvious that they have no perspective.

People aren't wearing the shirts to show their support for communism.
I personally don't own one, but who really cares if someone wants to proudly flaunt a commie on their chest? I think I might try to start a Hitler t-shirt trend...

It's mainly used as a symbol of rebellion in the west, not necessarily communism. So hey, better a teenager wear a shirt with his mug on it then go to school dressed like a woman then complain on an Internet forum about discrimination when he catches hell.

Although I believe if you are pass the age of school and wearing a shirt with him on it you are either 1) a socialist or 2) a retard.

I would say that 90 percent of the people who wear it don't have a clue who he even was. They just like Rage Against The Machine and see other morons wearing the shirts, and want to be like them.

Man, I love it, a women fueling a Caddy, who is not legally blonde, is wearing a Che shirt as a symbol of rebellion? Thank God I live in Detroit, and not in the west, I have enough trouble with a Lexis being the symbol of rebellion....

It's a trend, very few actually know who he was and what he did. But I don't really have any issues with it, it's a t-shirt.

My friend has a T-shirt that says, FCUK Israel, on the back, it's quite funny if you tell me.

I have a couple of t-shirts saying 'WTF'. It has received a bunch of comments from teachers about the childishness of it, but then I usually just show them the front which promptly reveals that it is, in fact, a World Taekwon-do Federation t-shirt.

Point of this post? I actually have no idea. Er, don't judge a t-shirt by it's back/front?

Communism didnt die in the 80s. It went underground, wrapped its claws around the media and became multiculturalism.

Open your eyes and look at America. Do you see Americans walking around? I see very few and a lot of invaders. What do you think caused this? Teddy Kennedy and his immigration bill that he got passed without even asking the American people.

It's kinda hard to see america from Norway

Well heres america from my point of view, we're all caught up in the war on terror and our death toll is around 2000. While 9000 die every year to illegal aliens. But were talking about giving them amnesty.

    Nothing makes sense here anymore.

Fine you don't like the american immigration politics. Fair enough. But what does that have to do with communism?

And yes, it's kinda hard to see USA from over here

Communism under Josef Stalin Affectionately dubbed "Old Bear", or "Uncle Joe" 100 million christians were sent to the gulags and killed. Under Operation Keelhaul which Eisenhower (Eisen) sent 2 million anti communist refugees back to the soviet union where they were then sent to the gulags and killed.

So you see, where hitler killed his millions. Stalin did his countless massacre.
